Day-Ahead Market (DAM)
The Day-Ahead Market (DAM) is a European organized spot market managed in Romania by BRM and OPCOM, where electricity is traded one day before delivery in hourly, 30-minute, or 15-minute intervals. It is the most liquid electricity market and establishes the reference price for electricity in Romania. WEBUS platform is authorized by NordPool for automated trading at the European level, enabling efficient and automated participation in the European electricity market.
Intraday Market
The Intraday Market allows participants to adjust their positions taken in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) through continuous trading on the day of delivery. It provides a high degree of flexibility and is essential for participants facing unexpected variations in electricity generation or consumption. WEBUS performs automated trading based on its proprietary algorithms and weather sensors deployed across Romania, with the aim of balancing the generation and consumption of its portfolio partners
Centralized Market for Bilateral Contracts
The Centralized Market for Bilateral Contracts (PCCB) is a medium- and long-term market where bilateral electricity sale and purchase contracts are concluded. It provides participants with stability and predictability through negotiated prices and volumes. Bilateral contracts can also be freely negotiated between licensed members outside the PCCB framework. The WEBUS The WEBUS platform will manage the execution and settlement of contracts with variable or fixed quantities and/or prices, helping eliminate imbalances for portfolio members.
Balancing Market
The Balancing Market is designed for the real-time regulation of the national energy system. Together with the System Services Market, it provides or requests electricity to maintain the balance between generation and consumption. The WEBUS platform together with its proprietary SCADA E-GATE solution, interacts with the national power system and automatically activates generation or consumption capacities to ensure its safe, stable, and efficient operation.
